The lean: This game pits two of the best running backs in the state against each other. Will Stokes of Madison Academy has totaled 2,114 yards and 35 touchdowns this season. He just won a performance of 216 yards and three touchdowns against Hamilton. Mason Cartee of Priceville ran for 2,224 yards and 31 touchdowns. He had 259 yards and two touchdowns against Etowah. … The Mustangs have just won their best score of the season. … Madison Academy has won 10 straight victories since opening with a loss to Class 6A, Briarwood Christian, ranked No.5. … The Mustangs have failed to advance to the quarter-finals since placing second State in 2016.… Priceville set the program record for wins in one season.
