Eight years after being made into a feature film, Richelle Meadthe line of “Vampire Academy” the books get the series treatment of Peacockand the trailer arrived.

Here’s the show’s official plot synopsis…
“Friendship, romance and danger. In a world of privilege and glamour, the friendship of two young women transcends their startlingly different classes as they prepare to graduate and enter vampire society. One as a powerful Royal, the other as a half-vampire Guardian trained to protect against the savage “Strigoi” who threaten to tear their society apart.

The series of six books about vampires for young adults was originally published between 2007 and 2010, with the first book being adapted to the vampire academy feature film in 2014.
Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries, the originals, the legacies) and Marguerite MacIntyre adapted the series and serve as showrunners, writers, and executive producers. Directors understand Bille Woodruff, Luis Prieto, Jesse Warn, Erica Dunton, Geoff Shotz and Julie Plec.
