PAPA ROACH releases the music video for “No Apologies”
PAPA ROACH shared the music video for “No Apologies,” picking up where their 2017 single “HELP” left off. This heartwarming version brings some familiar faces back to the screen to complete a beautiful story of forgiveness and love just in time for Father’s Day.
“Life is an art. Art is life. We continue to blur the lines. The no apology video is an expression of love and forgiveness. A story from which we can all learn and grow. I know I did. It’s true. It’s raw. That’s life. A must see,” frontman Jacoby Shaddix shares in today’s video.
“No Apologies” is taken from Papa Roach’s recently released eleventh studio album, EGO TRIP. An album that sprouted almost by mistake in the throes of a global lockdown, its seeds were planted when the quartet entered a COVID-secured mansion in Temecula, California in the summer of 2020.
What started out as an escape and an exercise in keeping the creative juices flowing, in a world that had come to a complete stop, quickly grew into something bigger. Determined, defiant and just the right side of the line between confident and arrogant (“I really hope [the album title] stop a few people in their tracks,” frontman Jacoby Shaddix sneers), EGO TRIP is Papa Roach – complete with guitarist Jerry Horton, bassist Tobin Esperance and drummer Tony Palermo – at its boldest and brightest.
