Patriotic photos of the Holiday World drone and fireworks show

Everyone is gearing up for the 4th of July weekend. For most people, that means going to a big fireworks display somewhere to celebrate Independence Day. Some fireworks, like the one in the town of Whitesville and the big show at the Owensboro Christian Church, have already passed. Others, like the town of Owensboro’s American 4th of July celebration, will take place on the 4th.

But, Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana started celebrating early, June 18, and they’ll continue long after rockets dazzle and bombs go off in the air on July 4. The park is home to the brand new drone and fireworks show called Holidays in the Sky. This show celebrates the different holiday-themed sections of the amusement park, and naturally, that means much of the exhibit is centered around the 4th of July.

When I went to see a preview a few weeks ago, I took some fun and patriotic photos of this particular section of the screen. If you love fireworks and celebrating America, you can do it all July, instead of just one day.

Holidays in the Sky features 300 drones that are choreographed to create a captivating series of shapes, displays, people, messages and more. There’s no doubt that the 4th of July section, which includes a stirring tribute to the United States, is one of the show’s most popular segments. And then, of course, there’s a fireworks display at the end for a real Independence Day all July!
